How To Style An Oversized Blazer || Black & Camel Edit

Happy Monday darlings! Another Monday, another fashion uniform. I am sharing one way to style an oversized blazer in today’s blog post. An oversized fit is not usually many lady’s go-to, I however have had a long going love affair with oversized fashion pieces. I recently found (after a long search I might add) a camel blazer that I can’t seem to stop wearing as of late so it’s only polite to share it.

A style tip when buying oversized fashion pieces is to have them tailored to your size, a great tailor will know how to alter the piece without losing the overall style the piece is intended to convey. I wore this jacket for about two weeks before having it tailored and it made a world of a difference. My tailor slightly took in the sleeves but left the length as it was, and moderately took the jacket in on the sides.

Oversized jackets can be styled over skinny jeans, a slim Cami or tank dresses and more. In today’s post, I styled mine over a pair of slightly cropped high waist tapered leg trousers. A fitted white seamless Cami for a sleek addition; and my black Bottega Veneta Mules and oversized rich camel clutch for the win. Wearing a pair of mules for the winter? Why not add a pair of fishnet hosiery, makes for a subtlety sexy vibe.
